Description

Rover V8 to 8hp adapter kit.

Fits all Rover V8. Intended for regular steel sump.

Designed to use THOR starter ring/gear

Fits Land Rover Discovery TDV6/TDV8 gearbox bell housing

Designed to use Discovery TDV6/TDV8 flex plate

ADAPTER LENGTH – 65MM

Kit includes:

Adapter plate Anodised Blue

Crank boss

Bell housing lower dust plate

Bell housing lower spacer

All Fasteners unique to the kit – DOES NOT INCLUDE FACTORY V8 OR FACTORY 8HP FASTENERS OR DOWELS.

Fitting guide:

Fitting is simple.

Bolt adapter to RV8 using supplied bolts. Ensure FACTORY RV8 ENGINE Dowels are fitted. Use Original Rover Torque settings.

Bolt Crank Boss adapter over RV8 flex plate. IF YOU DONT HAVE A THOR FLEX PLATE AND HAVE BOUGHT ONE TO FIT, YOU’LL NEED TO FIT THIS FIRST, USING THE ORIGINAL FACTORY FASTENERS AS LAND ROVER INTENDED.

Modify top hole in TDV6/TDV8 flex plate as shown below:

Bolt Flex plate to Crank Boss using Original Land Rover TDV6/TDV8 Torque settings AND BOLTS.

Rover v8 to 8hp adapter

Ensuring ORIGINAL FACTORY 8HP GEARBOX Dowels are fitted, slide the gearbox and TC onto adapter and bolt down using original TDV6/TDV8 fasteners, with original torque settings.

Bolt up flex plate to TC using original FACTORY 8HP bolts.

Fit lower bell housing spacer and dust shield plate with the 4 supplied bolts and nuts, do not exceed 10nm.

🌏 Where do we deliver ?

We would hope to be able to satisfy our customers wherever they may be in the world*. We send shipments all around the world.

*Please note that unfortunately we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes , APO or FPO addresses, so when ordering please supply a valid residential or commercial delivery address.

💷 How much is shipping?

Please add the parts into your Cart, shipping charges are calculated at the checkout stage and based on final order weight and location. You will see your shipping charge before processing payment. Please ensure you select the correct country for your delivery.

For all deliveries, our website will automatically calculate the shipping charge based on your delivery country and total order weight.

VAT is calculated and charged at the checkout stage for UK based customers ONLY.

For worldwide customers (outside of the UK) please note that any import duties/local taxes will be payable upon entrance to your country, this will be dependant upon your local laws and taxes applied to imported goods (this is not charged at checkout). Don't worry though, this process is easy as DHL will contact you to collect this on behalf of your government so your package can be delivered without delay.

📦 How do we deliver ?

All Domestic (UK) and International Deliveries (all weights) are sent with our partner courier DHL who offer a quick and fully trackable service straight to your door.

Once your order has been processed and booked for dispatch you will receive automatic notification from DHL with your tracking/waybill number and the link to monitor delivery progress, so please monitor your email inbox/junk folder. Orders booked for dispatch will leave on our next available DHL collection. Our DHL weekday pick up is usually between 11:30am -12:00pm.

For delivery to some countries (such as Brazil, Peru, India) we require your TAX ID or National ID number to include with the shipment booking. If your TAX ID number is required we will contact you prior to dispatch, or to speed up this process please include this information in the order notes
