Syncro Gearboxes BMW M57 to 300tdi R380 Adapter and Flywheel Kit – COLOUR SILVER

The new Syncro Gearboxes BMW M57 to 300tdi R380 Adaptor Kit allows you to bolt a standard 300tdi R380 to a BMW M57 engine.

50mm thick, Solid Aluminium Billet. You won’t need to use a hybrid box made from rare parts that are hard to source. Any defender or discovery 300tdi R380 will bolt straight up. At 50mm thick its the thinnest adaptor we could achieve when using a standard 300tdi R380

Includes CNC machined aluminium billet adaptor and various caphead screws to bolt the adaptor to the block,, spigot bush, dowels etc.

You must use your bmw ring gear from a bmw flex plate or flywheel with a 270mm inside diameter

Flywheel to suit any tdi/tgv fitment clutch cover and plate. You must use this release bearing: https://www.onlinegearboxparts.com/product/clutch-release-bearing-defender-diesel-2-5-na-oem/

THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE A CLUTCH. ANY STANDARD 200/300 TDI, TGV FITMENT CLUTCH MAY BE USED

Fitting Guidance
Designed to work with our Sold Mass Flywheel and the smaller X5 starter motor and will require minimal grinding of the bell housing near the new starter motor position as well as removal of 10mm of the end of the guide tube.

Fitted this in my defender 90, sits really well in the engine bay no need to move gearbox mounts. i found there is minimum chatter. fitting plate was fairly simple any problems syncro were on hand to help.
would of been nice too have some torque setting and some bolts for the bell housing but over all great product.

Please add the parts into your Cart, shipping charges are calculated at the checkout stage and based on final order weight and location. You will see your shipping charge before processing payment. Please ensure you select the correct country for your delivery.

For all deliveries, our website will automatically calculate the shipping charge based on your delivery country and total order weight.

VAT is calculated and charged at the checkout stage for UK based customers ONLY.

For worldwide customers (outside of the UK) please note that any import duties/local taxes will be payable upon entrance to your country, this will be dependant upon your local laws and taxes applied to imported goods (this is not charged at checkout). 📦 How do we deliver ?

All Domestic (UK) and International Deliveries (all weights) are sent with our partner courier DHL who offer a quick and fully trackable service straight to your door.

Once your order has been processed and booked for dispatch you will receive automatic notification from DHL with your tracking/waybill number and the link to monitor delivery progress, so please monitor your email inbox/junk folder. Orders booked for dispatch will leave on our next available DHL collection. Our DHL weekday pick up is usually between 11:30am -12:00pm.

For delivery to some countries (such as Brazil, Peru, India) we require your TAX ID or National ID number to include with the shipment booking. If your TAX ID number is required we will contact you prior to dispatch, or to speed up this process please include this information in the order notes
