I’m planning on doing a Range Rover P38 4WD conversion to use a Mercedes Benz OM617 300SD 3.0 Liter Diesel engine and would like the vehicle to retain 4WD capability. Preferably I would like to adapt the MB 4 speed automatic to the Range Rover transfer case if possible. I see this conversion as possible on earlier Toyota pickup truck manual transmissions. If if is not possible to retain use of Range Rover 4 speed automatic, or to utilize the 300SD 2WD 4speed automatic transmission, which automatic transmission could be economically used to retain 4WD capability in the P38 in combination with am OM617 Diesel engine ?
Hi I am looking to convert a 2014 mk8 Ford Transit with 6 speed box looking at a m57D engine is this compatible with your fitting kit thanks
